We offer insurance plans, or individual insurance options to allow you the choice on what you’d like extra cover for during your car hire.
Please see below information on all insurances that are available to purchase when you book.

Insurance Plans
STANDARD COVER – £0 PER DAY
It is compulsory to be insured on a rental vehicle, meaning that basic third party liability insurance is covered in the cost of the rental. The basic excess on a car is £1000 for any damage to mechanics and bodywork. Any damage to tyres, wheels, windscreen, and glass must be paid for in full. If you are aged between 21 and 24, insurance excess will increase by £400.
Please note; this cover is not available for vans and tippers. Excess on vans and tippers is £1500.
FULL COVER – £25 PER DAY
Full cover allows you to have £0 excess on any damage to mechanics and bodywork. It also completely covers you for any damage to tyres, wheels, windscreens, and glass. In total, full protection costs £25 per day. If you are aged between 21 and 24, insurance excess will increase by £400.
Please note; this cover is not available for vans and tippers. Excess on vans and tippers is £1500.
Individual Insurances
CDW – EXCESS REDUCED TO £0 – £20 PER DAY
This is £20 per day and will bring your excess on damage to mechanics and bodywork from £1000 to £0. If you are aged between 21 and 24, insurance excess will increase by £400.
Please note; This is not applicable for vans and tippers. Excess for vans and tippers is £1500.
CDW – EXCESS REDUCED TO £250 – £16.20 PER DAY
This is £16.20 per day and will bring your excess on damage to mechanics and bodywork from £1000 down to £250. If you are aged between 21 and 24, insurances excess will increase by £400.

TYRES AND WHEELS COVER – £5 PER DAY
This is £5 per day and will cover you for any damage to tyres and wheels.

WINDSCREEN AND GLASS COVER – £5 PER DAY
This is £5 per day and will cover you for any damage to windscreen and glass.
